Looks pretty sweet, can't wait for it to go live!

GribbleGrunger4340d ago

yeah, i'm surprised how slick it is

Tony-A4340d ago

Yeah, it looks really smooth - better than the one on Android, in my opinion. I wonder when it'll be available?

PS: Just got my Vita in the mail today! haha

SandWitch4340d ago

It will be available at the end of this month

The app works really smooth, I'm just surprised it's not black-themed like mobile app

Yeah, finally! Thanks to Google.

MGRogue20174341d ago (Edited 4341d ago )

Smooth menu transition & video playback.. so it obviously takes full advantage of the vita's quad core cpu + gpu.. very impressive, great work sony! :)

Shikoro4340d ago

Well, I'd say that this is an example of effective use of resources. Apps don't utilize the CPU and GPU to a full extent like games should because that would be resources wasted. :P

metsgaming4341d ago

Since there is an app then is it safe to assume just using the browser would work and would other videos from other sites work aswell?

Cosmit4340d ago

Nah. Videos won't play from browser. Which is why its really needed.

RevXM4340d ago (Edited 4340d ago )

Earlier I said I much rather want the Browser to be better.
And I still stand by that opinion.

But I also said I'd be ok with an app if its slick and gives us great quality. And this looks extremely slick and will appearantly by the looks of it utilize the Vita systems max screen res!

Favourites, likes, comments, history... Most important stuff is on there. First peek impression... 10/10.

Can't wait to try it out.

Wasn't this touted as a feature of Stadia previously and never came to fruition? I swear I remember a whole thing about "watching a youtuber play Assassins Creed? Just hit the embedded play button and immediately jump to exactly where they are in the game!"

just_looken304d ago

It was then it came out in beta i tried it then like alot of google stuff poof gone into the either.

Now its back no doubt behind there youtube paywall crap after you buy the game sense they supported stadia so well you know this will get all that support also.

gold_drake305d ago

google should be more focusing on their google play games to function on pcs already.

i dont wanna wait any longer haha

just_looken304d ago

Windows 11 can do that right now

Though yes janky it would be nice if it was from google but like m$ and its xbox pc app these trillion dollar companies take there time on everything.

Makes sense. Youtube is...a very big platform and been around very long lol. If I could go to a game streaming tab on my youtube app instantly, that'd be cool honestly.
