TVGB: Ubisoft has launched pre-order models for both Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation on the PlayStation Store in the EU, although these digital-only versions are proving to be pretty pricey.
Come on people, learn from Steam.
Tell ubisoft (Sony hasn't really a say in pricing)
Actually Ubisoft can only suggest pricing for Digital content.Sony and Microsoft are both in charge of final pricing.
@TheColbertinator wrong, if you read the threads on the Playstation site you will know it is the publishers that set the price
They could at least subtract the cost of a box and a disc from the price.
retailers would be up in arms and stop supporting carrying your games is what i hear to why they dont do lower pricing on digital platforms at launch.
But it's using up space on my hard drive. They have to find something to tempt me or I'll just buy the boxed version.
I honestly can't see how anyone pays these ridiculous prices for digital goods. As the article says most retailers charge £40 for a new game, and if you shop around there is usually a price war around the low 30s between online retailers. Plus you actually get a box, disc and 'manual' with a retail copy.
I like to wait a few weeks before I buy new games for better pricing.
