yeah I after what I have seen I could never play the console version without crying.
Same goes for watch dogs.

This game looks like it might be pretty good, but I'm still waiting for a new star wars battlefront game...

Placeholder dates/platforms from retailers shouldn't be news at this point.

From what we've seen, that level of fidelity is not possible on either PS3 or 360; heck, it's only possible on a high-end PC, and even then I doubt we'd see a commercial release of a title like that until GTX 680 equivalent GPUs are in the mid-range of power due to scalability concerns.

Why does everybody think that was console footage? It was running on PC.

This as well as Watch Dogs and Square Enix's tech demo were each probably running on some insane computer like quad or tri SLI 680s. Hell, even a single 680 or 7970 can't hold 60fps on 64 player BF3 matches or even 60 fps constant in Serious Sam 3 completely maxed out and still, to this day, NO single GPU can run Crysis 1 completely maxed out at 60fps constant.

I have a 7970 with an AMD Phenom ii x4 955 @ 3.5ghz & 8GB DDR 3 @ 1333mhz and I fear it's not going to be enough to run graphics like this at 1080p/40-60fps.

It's like 2007 all over again with the release of Crysis 1, where virtually no one could max it out.

My single gtx 680 runs crysis 1 on all-ultra with mods at around 74 fps
