Via IGN, new details surrounding the nature of Nathan Drake and the Big Daddy in PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale have emerged, including their super abilities and what they bring to the roster.
Awesome, cannot wait to play as both of them
The past few years Sony doesn't really try to deliver at e3. Bet anything they will go balls out at gamescom . To them that's their e3 stage.
Balls out. I like that expression!;D
Nearly all the characters should of been announced this E3 with a massive EPIC trailer with all the characters in. When it was announced a while back they said there would be more details and characters at E3 and the only new info we got was about these two characters which were leaked by the facebook poll.
Yep. I'm hoping that this isn't some indication that the roster gonna be small. I mean I want at least a minimum of 15-20 characters. They could do waaaaaaaay more. Well the Holidays are almost 6 months away so lots of time to reveal more.
The thing is though E3 was the perfect time to show them off I mean they could of showed half of them off, the ones which would get people excited for this game and then show the rest off over the months leading up to it's release. I mean we still didn't even get an info on new modes. Will there be a mode which features a normal health bar
I'm sure there will be way more. It would be a mistake to have a small roster for a game like this.
So what? That makes the wait even more climatic. As more characters and more stages are revealed people will be even more psyched as the release day comes. Each time we hear about a new character and what awesome stage they have and what new mode we haven't heard about it every fanboy will be hopping from one foot to the other craving for more details. A slow leak can be just as good as an all out reveal. @ MasterPain. The same thing Sonic has to do with the Nintendo brand. @ MikeCosgrove. They did give us more details. Two more characters, Big Daddy's stage and super power and Drake and Big Daddy in action. No one said they were going to spill their guts at E3. And they are hyping it. They said they would reveal more as they got closer to release time. @ cpayne93. They didn't show it on stage but they showed Drake and Big Daddy in action later on. Also people have seen Big Daddy's stage and his power to flood the whole level and you have to swim to escape him. Just read it just now.
What do you mean...so what It's E3...they promised us more details and they havent given us any, just another demo which didn't even feature the two new characters I mean if your going to show off a game already announced then announce some new features. It comes out in the Holidays may aswell start building some hype for it now at one of the most watched gaming events of the year @cpayne93 It's basicaly what I'm trying to say, we trail to E3 to show the same stuff they showed off when it was announced. If thats the case they should of just kept it a secret a bit longer
Made the whole presentation kind of lame though, it would've been nice to see some new character gameplay, or at least a map we haven't seen yet. Why would they just show stuff we've already seen?
What exactly does the Big Daddy have to do with the Playstation brand?
It's a third party character lol. This game isn't just first party.
Didn't know there was third party characters included. Thought it was gonna be first party only.
What did Solid Snake have to do with Nintendo? It doesn't matter. They had a game on the console and they're third party. Big Daddy hasn't been in a fighting game before so why not bring him in? It's not like Microsoft has a fighting game coming out.
Solid Snake appeared on the NES first. I don't really care if it's in the game or not I was just wondering.
@MasterPain No, Metal Gear first appeared on the MSX2. Likewise, Sonic first appeared on Sega hardware.
no the msx
The first console Mario was on was not made by Nintendo.
Solid Snake found success on the NES, it doesn't matter what he appeared on technically first. The point I was trying to make was that it wasn't that strange for Solid Snake to appear in the Nintendo brawl game.
@MasterPain No, Solid Snake found success on the PSX with the release of Metal Gear Solid. That's the game that launched the series into being a huge global success. Comparatively, the GameCube port "Twin Snakes" was an utter failure in comparison. I'd also like to point out that Sonic the Hedgehog also found his success on Sega hardware.
If the Metal Gear games didn't achieve at least some form of success on the NES, you think Kojima would have made Metal Gear Solid? MGS just made the series even more popular to a new generation.
Does anyone know the full roster number? Edit: I got a disagree for wanting to know how many characters will be in the game? LOL strange place n4g...
The devs know. That's about it.
Nathan Drake was a no brainer but I was surprised to see the Big Daddy....game gets better and better
who's next sackboy, snake, jak n daxter, ratchet n clank, kevin butler??? the list goes on
