Every year, the gaming press tries to decide which company “won” E3. It is the grandest prize a gamer can give for the most important convention in the industry. Usually this honor is determined by big reveals, entertainment value, and, most importantly, hardcore games. After deciding a winner, we gamers wait patiently to enjoy all the amazing things announced for the coming months claiming, “They are the best company ever!” Unfortunately for us hardcore gamers, companies might not care about winning E3 (and our hearts). In fact, they might want to be as far away from it as possible.
