E3 2012: Microsoft’s Press Conference Analysis [GameStooge]

Jordan Lund gives his impressions on Microsoft's E3 2012 press conference.

Excerpt: "Overall the Microsoft conference was underwhelming. There was no announcement of a next generation console, which both Microsoft and Sony said would not happen. Nike+ Training could be interesting, but that’s a feature that has been on Apple products for a very long time. Xbox Music is yet another music service, and after iTunes, Spotify and all the others, did we really need another one? Adding Explorer seems like a logical expansion of the Bing search we have now, but web browsing on gaming consoles has been notoriously weak, the PS3, Wii, PSP and DS have all done it poorly, which I guess means the bar is really low."
