After watching Reggie become a zombie on-stage and seeing Nintendo Land in action this morning, we have written our list of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly from the Nintendo E3 2012 Press Conference.
the good: luigis mansion looked good the bad: nintendoland the ugly: pretty much everything else
They were supposed to convince gamers as to why we should get a Wii U soon instead of waiting a year or so for the next PlayStation or Xbox. But they showed older multiplatform games and new games that can already be played on current PS3 and 360s. They needed at least 1 or 2 big Nintendo exclusive announcements to make me want to buy a Wii U. The whole time I was like "where's the big reveal!?".
i think thats pretty much what everyone watching the conference was thinking.
Good: 2 WiiU controllers, Pikmin 3, 3rd party devs not shying away from WiiU controller. Bad: No Retro, Everything revealed already announced, Questionable graphics. Ugly: WiiFit Family, NintendoLand, Iwata's casual money addiction.
Wii U gets zombie U & a very small portion of games from 30 & ps3 (alot of whats already out).. Oh i 4got about the Mii Disney Land! lol really nintendo?!?! I guess i expected a bit more from them so i feel a bit let down.. I thought it wouldve shown how much better the graphics on AC3 would be compared to the comp but once again, i was wrong.. TGS will show more of what i like to see tho
seriously? people are hating on nintendoland? I foresee great living room fun with it... I liked zombiU, mario U and pikmin 3 , so I guess I'm already kinda sold. I'm just scared of the price, looks like you'll need a pro controller and a wiimote on top of the initial purchase
Good: asymmetric gameplay (sounds interesting), Pikmin 3, Ubisoft support Bad: no specs (questionable power), no price/release date, no AAA title announced Ugly: Thou not as bad as wii its clear Nintendo still favors causal gamers, too much emphasis on old games, NintendoLand as the ending (may not be a bad game, but thats how they go out?)
