Not bad, I mean everyone always hopes for more when it comes to battery life.

ABizzel11992d ago

-_- ....hmmm....

Not to sure how I feel about that. Let's push for 6 - 8 Nintendo, although 3 - 5 should be fine for most gaming sessions.

Ddouble1992d ago

It's much larger though so you would a bigger battery than the Vita's. Saying that though, the controller always has a dedicated stream of data to and from the console which is probably why it's only 3 - 5 hours.

It's not a big deal anyway since it's not a portable.

This is typical battery life for such an advanced device.

Kur01992d ago

Battery life isn't too much of an issue since this isn't to be taken with you everywhere you go.

LOL_WUT1992d ago

Did anyone noticed that big cable that was connected through the gamepad?

Anyways 3 to 5 hours sounds ok.

xtremexx1992d ago

they said that its like that because its not wireless yet.

CouldHaveYelledUiiW1992d ago

If it has an inner rechargable battery- no problem.

GameOn1992d ago

AA batteries are much better (rechargeable obviously) so I think im destined for dissapointment.

Lf_sIcKmAn1992d ago

You actually think wasting so much money on batteries makes sense? WTF is wrong with you?!

GameOn1992d ago (Edited 1992d ago )

I've probably spent 20 quid in five years on batteries. Not bad seeing as I can easily switch them out and always have at least one set charged, no cables. Wham bam thank you mam.

and WTF is wrong with you, Have some manners. no wonder you were on my ignore list ya douche.

ShinMaster1992d ago (Edited 1992d ago )

So you'd rather spend money on batteries than to not have to spend anything at all with a rechargeable inner battery?

AA batteries on the Wii were such a hassle.

GameOn1992d ago

Ok I'll try and make this crystal.
It's a tiny price to pay to ensure there's never a need to turn your wireless controller into a wired controller. I want less cables thank you and I have no regrets seeing as they've been so useful to have around for loads of stuff. Money well spent and who knows maybe ill get another 5 years out of them.

ShinMaster1991d ago

And yes it will come with a cable to recharge.

I'd rather plug it in and continue to play than stop to replace the batteries and pay for them.

GameOn1991d ago

you do that. Ill use the superior mothod.
Now watch you dont trip over those cables. lol

ShinMaster1990d ago (Edited 1990d ago )

You can exaggerate to make a point all you want. But you only use the cable to charge. It's unlikely that anyone will trip.

I like how your "superior method" won't actually exist lol.
But you go ahead and pile up on batteries.

Here's a FACT: CD players, MP3 players, handheld gaming devices, controllers, ALL stopped using AA batteries.
