Featherweight GamePad is lighter than you might think.
Some good news, I guess. Now if only I had something worthwhile to play on it other than Pikmin 3 and Mario...
ZombiU and Rayman...
@shackdaddy Right, forgot about those. Though there's no guarantee that ZombiU will be good.
^ Very true. It looks cool though based on the gameplay footage on GT but we'll have to wait n' see...
I'll take my chances with Mario and ZombiU. I like the idea of Nintendo Land though, because i love the Miis
meh. I just want to see what retro studios is making for it!
Am I the only one who thought Lego City Undercover looked amazing? I guess so...
that game looked like GTA + Prince of Persia movement + LEGO i was actually impressed by the graphics as well, LEGO games are usually not very good graphically
Well, it's mostly a streaming device so it better be lighter than the ipad.
That's entirely true. I don't know why people disagreed.
well mostly because a CPU or GPU dont add that much weight, they are very fragile chips, its usually the battery that does.
Not at all surprised BUT I guess that was for everyone else who did not care about last E3.
And rumble was confirmed happily, just not enough WiiU software announcements Nintendo. E3 isn't over i know and TGS has to be informative because japan is crucial.
One would hope they take gamer feedback from all of this and try to market the Wii U differently, but I can't help but feel very skeptical at this point.
Has there been any news on a drop test? Being serious because I cant think of one controller I haven't dropped at least once by accident.
You forgot to finish with "on features"
I actually have no problem at all with the hardware, in fact it's pretty much perfect. its light weight, apparently comfortable, can have two tablets, got all the necessary buttons, has something new, analog sticks ect.. Its a great piece of tech. I was just upset with the conference of not showing enough first party games.
oh no. now what will i use to do dumbbell curls...
Looks cool, I'll wait until about 3-4 years in. Seems to be the sweet spot, any revisions to the hardware will be done by then. Also price will be much lower for the hardware and many games worth getting will have been lowered in price.
what I did not like about this controler : -batery life only last around 3.5 hours ,requires 2.5 hours to recharge with an ac adapfor.Too bad we can't recharge it with a usb port. Hopefully we will be able to continue playing while recharging this wiiu game pad. And people complained about the battery life on the 3ds... For the wt I would not mind if it had the same of the new iPad.
Also lack of Metal an Glass, can't exactly be compared to an iPad. but maybe a PSVita since most things compatible with the WiiU controller are parallel with PSVita / PS3, or at least developers hopefully recognize that. but its pretty neat,
