Amazon.com Raises Price of Wii U Games

"For a while now, Amazon.com has had the few Wii U games they have listed as showing with MSRPs/list prices of $49.99; that changed yesterday.", writes CoffeeWithGames. (Dirt, Industry, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Tekken, Wii U)

While I do like that Wii games cost less than the other 2 systems I agree with the article concerning the N64 game costs. I too payed $70 for some 64 games, which I do not recall. One thing I do not understand though, why is it that the exact same game on PC is cheaper than PS360?

PC development is free( sure you might still pay for an engine, but other than that there are tons of free engines out there).
You don't need a license to develop for it. MS/Sony/Nintendo all require that you buy their license in order to develop for their console.
There are some more reasons to it, but that's all i can think of right now.

Thank you! It makes sense now. I have wondered about this for awhile now, but haven't lost any sleep over it. Another thing i don't get is why you have 2 bubbles. I have seen many of your comments and we seem to have the same mind set to an extent, although I do not comment as much. Come on! But I can understand the price increase since, the wii u is now HD with a 25gb blu-ray disk format for it games.

Bye-bye $50 games...

Could be worse, really. As long as they don't exceed the $60 number, I'm cool with it. Same goes for the other two.
