Microsoft Announces LocoCycle and Matter

Microsoft announced 3 brand new games during their press conference today, all exclusive to the Xbox 360, with LocoCycle and Matter being two of them. (Ascend: New Gods, E3, Loco Cycle, Matter, Xbox 360)

Why didn't they show any gameplay of lococycle or matter. Kinda hard to get excited for something thats purely a cg marketing trailer.

Matter kinda seemed like they might be going for a journey/tron kinda thing.

Matter looked like a cross between Portal and Marble Madness to me. Also looked like a decent concept for a game, if that's the case. I've always said that puzzle games should be designed around Kinect because of the unique controls.

I totally agree with your first part of your comment Cajun. I doubt many people remember marble madness though,

Since when do first time announcements feature gameplay?? When was the last time ANY game was announced with gameplay in the trailer?? I'll wait.

most of the time if their not made by microsoft. Most 3rd party games and most other exclusive games for other consoles show gameplay.

For some reason I thought Matter was a new Portal.

WTF did I just watch?

I hated these. not because of the games themselves but because MS comes out and says "we have 3 big titles to announce" and two of them were these.....give me a break. This should have been held inside an Xbox Live Arcade promo video or something, not key announcements.....

Are those 3 going to be XBLA games or full retail?

Lies, Microsoft didn't announce any new IPs, Sony fanboys on N4PS3G told me so.

I'm pretty sure it was "non-Kinect IPs," as it's been for a long time now. Nice spin, though.

I was not wowed by MS e3 but I liked what they showed this year. They gave us a lot of games to see and only a small bit about Kinect and dash addons. I wish they gave a demo of the new Forza but the video looked good. Halo 4 looked amazing and also different to the other games which I wanted form Halo 4. Gears looked interesting and so did IE for the 360 and looks like a browser that would work on a console unlike the PS3 Wii and smart tv versions.
I also thought the new splinter cell looked interesting too.

As for LocoCycle and Matter im interested in seeing what they do with them.
