New screens from this year's Forza Horizon have been released.
Looks good in Photo-Mode ,
And surely in gameplay as well, just like Forza 4. I'm thrilled to know more about how it will play. If it will be an open world racer of some sort. Would be amazing!
wow looks brilliant!!! like a combination of forza physics and graphics with test drive openness.
That's exactly what I'm hoping for! I am so excited to finally see this game in action.
This game is open-world? If so....holy shit this looks amazing.
Yup, it probably doesn't want your trollish hands all over it anyways. OT: the screens look great, and I'm excited to see the changes this installment will bring.
Looks brilliant. forza physics + car list and test drive openness will be racing game heaven for me. A track editor will just be the icing on the cake. Can't wait to see more on Monday.
Looks gorgeous O_O
I just wanna drive down that road..
Any more details on this game as yet? Is it a Need for speed or PGR type of game a just another Forza with a different name.
- Forza Motorsport 4 physics optimized for off-road - 65 grounds like mud, gravel, grass, tarmac etc. - reduced damage - open world with dynamic day/night - colorado environment/panorama with detailed foresight - festivel with a huge drivable area and car service stations, paintshops, car dealers etc. on it - events like mustang vs. mustang or racecar vs. jet source: http://www.forzalife.de/201...
Thanks but still does not answer my question...I guess we will see at E3. Also whats up with the reduce damage - if anything I would want the damage to more.
@patriots pride. its not a direct sequel to forza 4 but rather an open world game like burnout paradise and test drive unlimited.
@Patriots_Pride Maybe legreffer's post didn't answer the question in your head, but it did answer the one you wrote down. Clearly this game is not "just another Forza with a different name". It's an obvious departure from the numbered entries in the series.
Here's more info: Finally, one day / night mode is the dynamic part and rhythm to the hours spent playing bragging about the Festival in the heart of the map where you can find gas stations, decorations workshops, dealers, and many other things at cruiser to explore the beautiful countryside, or you engage in illegal races with opponents that you come across over the miles. Source: http://forums.forzamotorspo... All this info is not confirmed so... can'twait for E3!!
forza:Horizon is basically a new IP because apart from the tweaked physics engine, they are very different games.
How did legreffer's post NOT give you more details? And it answered your question quite aptly as well.
Anyone notice how super wide the road is in this picture compared to the car http://i.imgur.com/uRPUo.jp... ?? I mean, woah...
what? your driving near the freaking cliff!! no shi* the roads gotta be wide
... most cliffside roads are barely two lanes wide, let alone each lane being twice as wide as average. Have you ever been to/driven on such roads?
wow, looks like pretty amazing driving down those roads, nice graphics
Cant wait for e3...i hopes its big openworld...with drifting ha
Wow, this looks fantastic. From what I understand the people behind this game were mostly ones who made previous Project Gotham Racing games. So this is intended to take the place of that series. This is basically a new IP which is taking the Forza brand on the road. Hopefully its a Need For Speed type of game, but better. Open world driving and night time driving with Forza cars is an amazing combination.
do we know about release date ..? anybody..
Scheduled for 10/23/2012
Oh man, driving down that road looks like it will be sweet!! I hope it's open world. It would be really cool to have a game where you drive for hundreds of miles of open road. Gas stations and custom shops huh? Well all we need now is traffic police and it becomes a day 1 buy.
Wow not much else i can say.
