How many times did this article mention angry birds? Way too much. Someone is on the birds jock. Can we get over that time waster on the toilet already, yesh.

Hisiru2301d ago (Edited 2301d ago )

I can see myself spending my time playing it on the toilet, but it's not a masterpiece as people say.

While Angry Birds is obviously a big hit I think the key to success for the Wii U will be awesome first party exclusives and a steady library of third party titles as well. Let the mobile market soak up the simplistic social games.

PopRocks3592301d ago

Agreed. Though having a game or two to pull in the casual gamer never hurt anyone, so I see why they would put Angry Birds on there.

Titanz2301d ago

While the 1st/2nd and 3rd party titles, is the Wii U's sinker (traditional gamers). Evolution is a part of life, and Nintendo knows that full and well.

CouldHaveYelledUiiW2301d ago

Yep.

Gamers need to realize that the game industry needs casuals too, to survive and grow.

There are many reasons:
-Like bringing in FRESH new ways of seeing and doing things. I.E. Wii Sports approach used in LoZ:SS.

-But MOST of ALL they bring More MONEY. That Money is later used to Help make Traditional/Core Games or Fund New Systems.

God that was one terrible article. I finally gave up at "Chinese companies".
