I remember my dad buying SF II for the SNES for $80 back in the day. Disc based format has lowered costs but still $60 is expensive in this day in age. Add to the fact IF you want the 'FULL' experience you may have to pay additional fees in DLC.

Piracy of games, used game sales have handcuffed developers & publishers to find other means for making a profit. Games have become so expensive to make the high game costs are part of the norm. It is too bad.

I'll state this again for everyone! Back during the days of Atari, Intellivision, etc games cost the same as they do today.

However, the games were very few. Today there a freaking ton of games, that is the difference.

I can wait for games to drop............
