It wasn’t that long ago actually that World War II games dominated the gaming industry. Whenever there were a new slew of shooters on the horizon, you could guarantee there will be at least one of those titles that would be about World War II. Soon enough everybody got sick of them and moved on. So it’s surprising to see that once again a game set in that same war has come out but that’s not the most surprising thing. The most surprising thing is that it is one of the best shooters to come out in recent times too. Sniper Elite V2 is fun, violent and a breath of fresh air. 7.9/10
