Collector's edition announced for SEGA's Aliens: Colonial Marines

Video game publisher SEGA, along with developer Gearbox Software and Twentieth Century Fox, have announced that a Collector's Edition version of their upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines video game will be made available when the game launches on February 12, 2013 worldwide.

The story is too old to be commented.

Should of named it the "Get away from her you B*tch" edition

That would draw attention

"Four Playable Movie Characters"

and yet Ripley isn't one of them

They really need to have an Alien game after this which features Ripley in it set after Alien 4. Sigourney Weaver has said she would like to continue to play Ripleys character some way.

Lack of Ripley makes no sense, but I am buying it for sure.

Yeah...I'm pre-ordering this tomorrow FOR SURE.

I'll be playing as Hicks! I got Hick's (Michael Biehn's) signature last year at a horror movie festival. He totally signed my Alien Anthology Blu-ray egg.

Edit: There's a weapon called the "Sonic Electronic Ball Breakers." This game has gone BEYOND fanservice. Awesome.

I've completely lost interest in this game, I was initially immensely hyped on it's announcement. Originally it was advertised as being a tactical, Rainbow Six-like title, with you having to command your followers to carry out a whole manner of actions to defeat/hold off the Alien threats. On the arrival of a second player, each player would take command of one of the AI followers.

Unfortunately, due to the games difficult development (most likely caused by the purchasing of the Duke Nukem Franchise), the game has been hugely streamlined and has become a generic FPS...
