DSOGaming writes: "DICE has just revealed that a major patch for Battlefield 3 will be released in June 4th."
"Reduced input lag for gamepads/joysticks on all platforms. Aiming as a soldier when using a gamepad or joystick should now be more responsive." Hmmm...we'll see.
I hope it fixes input lag on PS3. Last patch didn't fix it..
Maybe you guys just suck at aiming and blame it on the input lag :P
There is actually Input lag, and anyone who plays other FPS can see that. And it's not the intentional Killzone 2 kind, it's the sloppy, dev error, should of been fixed by now kind.
I never had any problems with this "input lag" you speak of. I've played it on PS3 and had no problem aiming (same with Killzone 2). Maybe it's just the casual gamers who play COD all the time that are complaining about not being able to aim because lack of heavy auto-aim or something.
there is input lag babyclami
Potential random audio crash fix. If this is what I think then ill be happy
buff to shotguns=win!
can you not aim? lolz
i do just fine with shotguns. pumps lacked speed where in real life i can empty one just as fast as a semi auto. why would i not want a buff to a weapon i use a lot?
mebe 'cause shotguns don't need to be buffed?
tell that to dice then, asshole!
lol, or what?
Better fix the damn freezing with the ps3
I did this to stop the freezing, i deleted the b2k, and the bf3 files from my ps3 and then re installed everything. Has not froze ever since
why do they have aim assist at all? and thank goodness the smoke stays longer again.
Because controllers aren't very good for FPS games. That's why you have aim assist. At least you can turn it off if you want.
Basically if not all FPS on PS3 and 360 have aim assist.
Just about every console FPS has aim assist.
"Increased the effectiveness of the Aim Assist at close range. Testing in Close Quarters proved our current assist to be inadequate in tight quarters. This is a global change, and will improve the effectiveness of Aim Assist for all modes and maps. Aim Assist over distance is still significantly less effective. This is console only, as Aim Assist is not present on PC. If you prefer, you can also turn it off on console." This made me lol, thinking about console gamers that say "hey, the controller is perfectly fine and accurate for shooters". Yeah, right :P
'tis the truth, sir.
