New Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse Gameplay Details Revealed

Activision has today revealed new details for the recently revealed Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse videogame. Set for release this autumn, Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is now confirmed for simultaneous release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

To be fair, FG doesn't really lend itself to a VG universe. It's really sort of a shallow universe when you think about it. If the show were more like the beginning and less about politics and smugness (eg. making aids jokes while being so critical), it might have grown strong enough to be a compelling universe. Another problem is that they managed to kill off several interesting characters and now spend too much time on celebrity one-time appearances. They're hitting the same issues that the Simpsons faced about the same number of seasons in.

It's from Activision so you'll only get to play as other characters if you buy them as DLC. At E3 they'll probably announce Family Guy Elite.

i had read that there would be some other characters but not for the story, i even remember reading that a pair would be Peter and Death, i think it was in the IGN article
