LittleBigPlanet Karting: Sackboy Revs Up Multiplayer For E3

PS Blog writes:

"With E3 less than a week away, I wanted to take this opportunity to provide a quick update on what you’ll be seeing at the show in Los Angeles. We’ll be unveiling our multiplayer mode, which supports one to four players offline and one to eight players online, and I’m sure you’ll be reading plenty of hands-on reports from the press during E3 week. I can tell you that it’s addictively fun — you won’t want to put the controller down! We’ll also be showing off more of the single-player campaign that users will be able to explore, as well as some of the additional non-racing experiences that are unique to LBP Karting, so get ready!"

... but TBH, I feel the style of LBP is less suited for a kart-racing game where I want to create outside locations.

I would have preferred a Modnation Racers 2, with shorter loading times and less DLC-milking.

What I really wish they would have done instead of this is to just have put this type of gameplay into the next Little Big Planet, instead of doing a spin-off.

Little Big Planet with options for both the normal side scrolling style, and open 3D levels would be amazing. It would open up so many more opportunities, like; making 3D levels for racing, first and third person shooters, platformers, etc.

Oh well. This will still be fun as heck on its own. It seems like the game will have some similarities to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and that's definitely not a bad thing.
