Games of Thrones (Xbox360) Review *Brutal Gamer*

Undoubtedly, studios who attempt to make a game from any type of successful series, be it book, movie, television show, or anything else, face an uphill battle. The comments on “cashing in” begin immediately at the announcement of the game. Then they have the super-fans to deal with as well, who scrutinize every screenshot and press release for the smallest discrepancies, intent on protecting the honor of their favorite series at any cost. On the flip side, those same super-fans will often buy anything that carries the mark of their favored series and developers know it, which can make for low quality in the finished product. Regardless of the development process itself, Cyanide Studios had their work cut out for them when they took on Game of Thrones. (Game of Thrones, Xbox 360) 6.5/10
