Babes holding a Wii Upad controller? It'll most definitely cater to the dude/bro crowd, though the jadeds would truly succumb to any AAA 3rd party titles, showcased.
They will regardless. They are launching the first next generation console. Whether the specs are on par with a low end PC it still wins. Mario+ New Hardware is hard to beat.

nintendo:
they need to get 3ds stuff out of the way than give us all the goodies for wii-u
Assure us that 3rd party developers are on board unlike wii, and show us a lot of games in HD
Mario HD Pikmin HD ANIMAL CROSSING please please please please metroid zelda f-zero etc,,,,
both N and sony need to show us games since Microsoft has decided to go soft on us after we helped them be successful. So here is hoping Nintendo doesn't mess it up and really show up and own E3
Tis was all my opinion so you can disagree i just want what matters to me as a gamer GAMES
yeh i know that's just a rough sketch of thing i would like to see, i also agree features do matter a lot
one thing i am interested is what N has learned from xblive and psn and whether their service will be free or a paid service?
I think N has a lot of unknowns but will be nice to see a lot of stuff at E3, they should get ceo of few big publishers on stage to show support for wii-u
one thing i am really interested in is what kind of growing pains are we gonna go with wii-u online.
other than that as many games as they can show that would be awesome.
One thing i don't agree with is when N said no price or release date, i mean E3 on spike with millions watching make a statement with a price and a release date. That's just my opinion
All I want to know about features/capabilities: -Will the WiiU have UE4 support? -Is there some kind of achievements/trophies? -What is the media storage if it's not blu ray? -What is the controller capable of doing? -Iwata said they will improve social features, but I want more info
Of course, I also want to hear about the games and third party support.
I don't see much happening for the vita this year, save for nearly every big ps3 game getting portable ports. The level of electricity is eerily similar to the 3ds pre e3 2011, which got some good coverage but nowhere near what it deserved or needed. For Sony, I think there will be 1 or 2 unannounced games overall, with a strong focus on ps3.
For Nintendo, wiiu details and a ton of games. 3ds will also have a good show of western made and Japanese localization announcements. Obviously, 1st party software will also be shown for both, and while new games may be shown for 3ds most 1st party software will be long awaited games like AC and Paper Mario.
That's what my assessment of all known rumors, logical deductions and historical precedence is telling me.
Well, I agree with your entire post except 1 thing: I do believe they will show something new for Vita (maybe a new Final Fantasy or something huge that is still in early development and you can't even see footage) because they need to make people get excited for this little and powerful device.
Or maybe they will give a huge list of games that will be released for the vita just like Nintendo did with the 3DS and Sony did with the PSP, this way they will make people get more excited about the system.
I also believe they will show COD Vita or another important western game.
As for Nintendo, I believe they will bring a very important third party developer to the stage just to encourage some other developers.
not a huge fan of nintendo im sure it has power but content will be nowhere close to ps3 or 360. and game of mario and zelda are the same shit they put out every minute. so no buy for me, but i will admit i cant wait to see some gameplay of Metro Last Light on the WiiU.

And it's not just about the games, they will talk about the WiiU's features and capabilities, which is still a secret for us.
(And no, I am not giving you a disagree).
Sony will also give us much more than that list of yours.
