'Castlevania' to Haunt Again in Two New Games

Fearnet writes: Gammasquad reports that with E3 on its way, "There's a very good chance two new Castlevania games will be officially unveiled at the show. First, we have Castlevania: Mirror of Fate, a new 2D-style Castlevania for the 3DS. Interestingly, rumor is Konami isn't developing this game internally like past 2D handheld Castlevania games — instead it's likely being handled by MercurySteam, the team behind Lords of Shadow. Word is the game will make use of the 3DS' underused cameras in some sort of interesting way, and be able to interact with another new Castlevania game on the WiiU."

The story is too old to be commented.

3DS line up is tight. This game is rumored to be called, Castlevania: Mirror of Faith (or Fate). Bring it on...DS Castlevania's were great.

I think Mercurysteam is up to the task as long as it follows Kojipro's direction

3Ds version is using ps2 syle polygons & ps1 looking environments.. Theyve destroyed my beloved 2D sprite based platforming series.. why not vibrant hd like sprites? why not fully 2D platforming with 3d visual elements? cuz theyre too damn lazy to hand draw it like the MASTER who created SOTN.. I refuse to buy this abomination.. Its ok on the big brother consoles but dont taint the 3ds with those shitty polygons & ruin the handhelds legacy
