Otaku Gaming writes: "Stepping back and looking at Dragon’s Dogma from a meta-perspective makes you realise it represents everything that is wrong with the games industry. It is an offensively derivative game that makes Gameloft’s knock-offs look creative. Despite the utter cynicism it displays towards consumer buying behaviours, it’s still a moderately entertaining game, but it sits very firmly within the second tier of JRPGs." 2/5
The Witcher 2 pulls off a lot of things very well on the Xbox 360.
In all honesty though, why don't you just download the demo and try it for yourself? I don't understand why you would need someone else's say/opinion to know if *****you***** would want to play the game. For example, White Knight Chronicles II got bad reviews, but IMO, it's one of the very few games this past year I felt was worth the $60 tag. Reviews are too random to really judge or go off of.
Not trying to sound like an A-hole but just saying...
*Edit for possible spoiler.
Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with being a Nintendo fan however, the sites clearly biased, this game + a review that suggests only the demo has been played or possibly a quick go at a friends of Dragons Dogma receives 2/5 yet 'farm simulator' for the 3ds receives 4?.. along with other ninty games(that aren't any better than this game) receiving good scores.
First rule of good journalism, don't be biased.
