No PS4 Info, A New Infamous, Sony At E3 2012: What We Expect

To be honest, Sony really doesn’t need to do anything at E3. They already have an impressive list of games scheduled to come out in 2012 for both the PS3 and Playstation Vita. With that said though, here’s what we expect from Sony at E3.

But it was officially announced at E3 three years ago. I think it would be suitable if a demo was shown next week. In fact since Sony Santa Monica are now helping Team ICO with the game, they could probably have a member of Santa Monica studios present the game on stage.

True, but even Versus XIII was first shown at E3, so even japanese games still get the E3 spotlight. I hope the case is the same here.

I wouldn't mind hearing more on The Last Guardian, FF Versus XIII and Agent... You know, to give us a sneak peak or at least something to know in which state are those games.

Also, I would like to see more of PlanetSide 2. I don't know if it's going to release in PS3 (hope so), but it's part of Sony none the less, so it could be there.

Agreed, if The Last Guardian isn't there, there's something seriously wrong with the development. If somehow it skips E3 this year, TGS will likely be the last straw, I think.

i also hope for a infamous 3. i hear alot of ppl saying the endings for both good and bad were perfect, and they were, but that doesnt mean the story cant continue. sure it may take a cheesy start to continue but further on in the story im sure sucker punch could make us forget about all that.

Infamous 3 for Ps3 and infamous 1.5 or prequel for Vita. From what I heard Cole tell his friend(forgot his name but if I'm correct it's Neville) at the beginning of infamous 1 some crazy stuff happened before infamous 1 with Cole and him. Just a Thought though.

Why are people all over the internets dying for a new PlayStation? The PS3 isn't fully tapped yet. The graphics we see nowadays are at their peak. The PS3 is now only $50 less than the price of the launch PS2, and it was not long ago the system started selling to the masses. There are a lot of a major goals recently accomplished.

Stop acting like such spoiled brats and appreciate what you already have. The system is good enough to roll on for another 2-3 years before it needs to be replaced.

Current gen consoles are probably running on 2004 hardware. I doubt there is much more juice that can come out of them.

I'd say 2013 was the perfect time for next-gen to start. Not this year though as we have big titles like Halo 4, The Last of Us, GTAV etc.

I'd say Heavy Rain/Kara(as a tech demo...) were better and so I'd say 2010 was the year in which the PS3 reached the max in terms of graphics. As for the 360, I'd say Gears 3.

I'm pretty sure the next Xbox and PS won't come out until 2014. This gen is a long one. The consoles seem to shine with exclusive games, only with PC/console multiplatforms do the consoles start to show their age.

My bet is we will see the Last guardian when the PS4 is shown. I get this feeling due to the extensive delay and now Santa Monica sony joining in that they have gone into a revamp overhaul, and a big part of this is due to upgrades the game will be getting for the PS4...I hope we at least get to hear something new on the game, where they are, where they are heading would be nice...

The game was probably only going to come in 2013 anyways, now it will be even better on the PS4 and come out around the same time period anyways...

Media Molecule's new IP has me really curious. I once again am wanting to see more innovation/creativity, thinking outside of the box and style galore from them.

Insomniac's "strikforce" also has me really interested to see more details.

More details into The last of us" is another I am very high on.

Santa Monica's new IP is yet another I am eager to see more on...

So all of sonys future titles are coming off the cloud. The ps4 is going to be onlive like. This could be a cool move. Then DLC or even pc user made connent can be on a disk. Vita as a cOntroller would work by communication thur a faster server.

I expect ms will just bring out a tablet for their existing controller or an xbOx controller that is configurable.
