Click. Loot. Repeat. Runic's sequel to its 2009 action-RPG is addicting, and at times, works better than chocolate.
TL2 will work and offer offline/online modes plus mods....
...actually, technically it is still a poor man's Diablo, since most of the people I know who are buying it are only doing so because it costs $20, and they don't want to spend $60 on Diablo 3.
Im buying it because i like the genre but dont want to fill blizzards coffers, not because of price. That and my internet drops periodcly and the whole always on thing kind of sucks.
Not to mention that there is a good chance that user's accounts won't be hacked and their loot stolen as well! Having played a little of Torchlight; I'm generally surprised at the execution of the title. Slightly rough around the edges, but rather good.
It's a poor man's Diablo bec. it does not have Activision jacking it's price. But, the contents are far richer than the first TL and Diablo. Why they choose the cartoony style is fine by me as long the gameplay is good. And Torchlight 1 delivered more. Although, lacking multiplayer and some elements it's still good. And after playing TL2 beta. I can say TL2 will have a better promise than Diablo 3.
Gimme Gimme Gimme! Already pre-ordered now let me play! *rubs arm* I was in the beta and it was really fun.. *bites finger nails* I just...I just gotta have my fix...
