No, no ESRB is needed at all. $5000 for a game rating? They can do crawl a grave and stay on consoles as it's not needed by law or by the small companies trying to get by making games on smart phones and such. Who ever made this article is very stupid to think making small companies pay to even try to succeeded on a whim is retarded.
