The 10 best PlayStation boss fights ever

These are the gaming moments you remember: classic battles that have you on the edge of your seat. Everything from MGS3′s The End to Batman: Arkham City’s Mr Freeze: these are the 10 best PlayStation boss fights ever. (Batman: Arkham City, Metal Gear Solid 3 HD, PS2, PS3, Tomb Raider)

Not all Playstation titles (only 3 actually are) and I really hate it when you peeps put each answer on a different page. Here's the list for everybody else.

The End (MGS3)
The Argus (Vanquish)
Mr Freeze (Batman Arkham City)
Avion (Shadow of the Colossus)
T. Rex (Tomb Raider)
Sephiroth (FFVII)
GLaDOS (Portal)
Jack Krauser (Resident Evil 4)
The Hydra (God of War 2)
The Spider (Limbo)

Not a very good list IMO. I'd say that False King Allant and/or the Tower Knight should be up there as memorable as they were. Also, I found the Phalanx much more fun than the Avion.

Next time, actually use Playstation titles for a Playstation list.

They Hydra boss fight was in God of War 1 not 2, and they call themselves official PS magazine.

this list is ridiculous.
1-10 should be a mix of only the following:

God of war 1-3(mainly 3)
Final Fantasy 7
Metal gear solid series( mainly 4)

those are the only boss fights that got me on the edge of my futon!

I don't understand the point of mentioning a specific console in title when the list contains elements from multi-platform games. Wouldn't a simple 'Top 10 best Boss fights' title be enough?

My list:

1. The Dragon's - Vagrant Story
2. Nemesis - RE 3
3. Metal Gear Rex - MGS
4. Crying Wolf - MGS 4
5. The End - MGS 3
6. Selvaria Bles - Valkyria Chronicles
7. The last boss (i forgot it's name) - Shadow of the Collossus
8. Ryuji Goda - Yakuza 2
9. Virgil - DMC 3
10. Anubis - ZoE 2

Well, it's not a complete list because i'm not including some bosses from Wild Arms, Front Mission 3-5, Chrono Cross, FF Tactics, and other PS games that can made my head spinning like a chicken :D

Malus was the name of the last Colossus.

Also agree highly with Anubis and Selvaria.

Ah, thx for the reminder bro :)

I hope we can fight Anubis again in ZoE 3. And Selvaria...that lovely b***h with her ultimate spear and gatling gun...ugh >.<

Greatest Boss battles this Generation of gaming all take place in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. Honorable mentions are God of War 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4.
