The Silent Hill HD Collection should have been a love letter to fans, but instead, it turned out to be a technical disaster on many levels. Missing textures and crackling audio was just the tip of the iceberg. What went wrong?
Mad... as... hell... PEOPLE PAYED MONEY FOR THIS!!! S-H-A-M-E O-N Y-O-U K-O-N-A-M-I!!!
I didnt know that, i was gonna buy it at some point aswel, fancied a bit of horror, never played Silent Hill 2 or 3 Oh well, ill look forward to the MGS Collection instead
I would say if you can get it for $20 and under its worth it if you never played them. The MGS collection is a true collection every developer should take a look at before making one.
Burn 'em down
Well at least he was honest but yeah, it was a major letdown.
Glad I still got the originals and didn't pick this up. I feel for the people that did :(
It's fine, I played through it already...what a maroon...
I thought he was more of a burgundy myself, but I guess it's subjective.
wait, "when" did they find out they were porting from a beta source?
lol@ today's video game industry.
Do people realize that when you release a game you are shipping a beta? It's just renamed gold when the publisher says to give it to manufacturing. But anyways, the game was an absolutely terrible port. They toned down the fog to make the game more HD? They didn't realize toning down the fog would reveal map seams that would otherwise be covered? Ugh.
