Namco Bandai's new light novel game debuts as the best selling game in Japan.
Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsuzuku Wake ga Nai Longest game name ever? Lol, still... I wish we'd get even half the games Japan gets on PSP, going onto the JPSN store for the Vita killed me seeing the amount of PSP titles they have compared to ours. D:
Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? Is second.
This Can't Possibly Be The Title To A Proper Game!
Hahaha, it totally is... I seriously can't think of a longer game name.
wait whaaaat!! is this really the title of the game. he have a crash on his sister what the hell is goin on on that country "japan"
@Grap - Actually I've seen/read the series and it's not really about him liking his sister. More like just learning to get along with her, after discovering her weird secret.
I watched Oreimo, and there are definite overtures to incestuous relations, dude.
Actually the full name is Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsuzuku Wake ga Nai. I just couldn't put all that in the title with a 100 character limit.
Its Japan dude, those people take weird to another level. I mean which other country you know has used womens underwear vending machines? The USA should ship Kanye West and Lady Gaga to Japan.
It is an extremely popular anime series in Japan so it is not surprising the game is that too as well. The first game did great numbers for being a visual novelesque game. Weird that the Japanese has this 'sister' complex mentality....wonder what a "My little brother can't possibly be this cute' game will sell like?
What's up with the Targaryen-style fantasy theme of this anime? Is it popular because of the incest-taboo? Weird culture, and yes I'm Japanese myself...
If this gets localized, it'll be renamed My Little Sister Can't Possibly Be This Annoying.
...or "My Little Sister is a Brat and needs to be spanke..." oh nevermind, haha. #strange
"I found out that it is actually a light novel game based on the popular manga of the same name" Looks like you answered your own question. By the way, alot of you people should be ashamed of jumping to the conclusion of incest. I read the shows description It's about a boy who learns his sister, who he never got along with and vice versa, is an otaku but she wants to keep it secret so the brother helps and they become closer friends throughout the show because of the shared secret. Once again, you people really need to stop judging a book by it's cover and give things the benefit of the doubt.
Well... It is kind of natural to jump to incest... Japan has seen its fair share of those kinds of games. The translation could have made it sound more, um, incestuous, though. I don't know much about the japanese language, but they could have different words for cute for different scenarios.
meanwhile, in Japan...
