That'll be the version I get if this is true.

Emilio_Estevez2071d ago (Edited 2071d ago )

Maybe you'll both get lucky and they'll do the combo packs for ya; buy PS3 version, get the Vita one for free, or at least a discount.

Snookies122071d ago

Yeah, I'll seriously buy the console and the Vita version if this is true... Just to have a game like that on the go is... Well yeah, you get where I'm going with this. XD

@DrStabwounds - That would be awesome if they did it. I really really enjoyed the first Lords of Shadow, so I'm definitely looking forward to number 2.

Lords of Shadow was awesome. Best Castlevania games since SOTN. Can't wait for the sequel. Hopefully it doesn't take place in present day like the end of LOS eluded too ...

we'll see!

"best Castlevania games since SOTN"

I think you missed a lot of great castlevania games on the psp and the ds.

jeseth2070d ago

Most of the great Castlevania games on PSP were re-releases, Dracula X/Bloodlines, etc.

NukaCola2070d ago (Edited 2070d ago )

Lords of Shadows is my #2 next to SOTN. #1 goes to Dawn of Sorrow for the DS.

Not over all top favs, just "SINCE" the SOTN release. I'd have to think about it, if I put a top 5 together.

Nevers2070d ago

For me, personally, my top three 'vanias' are:

Castlevania SOTN
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
Castlevania LoS

I'm not sure that there are that many games out there that could actually top SOTN, for me.

Glad LoS might be getting a sequel. I had a good time playing that game.

WooHooAlex2070d ago

Same. The first Lords of Shadow has been sitting on my shelf, unopened for like 5 months now. I've been waiting for the right opportunity to play it. Might get a start on it tonight.

MaxXAttaxX2070d ago (Edited 2070d ago )

and even MORE LIKE Shadow of the Colossus and God of War(III).

It'll probably still be good though.
I'd just like a more proper Castlevania game.

BattleAxe2070d ago

The Vita will start to get alot of multiplatform titles. It only makes sense seeing as how porting from the PS3 to the Vita isn't that hard according to developers.

Nevers2069d ago

TBH, I think the most Castlevania'ish game that has come out in a long while is Dark Souls. Love that freakin' game. Been meaning to upgrade a whip just to run around as a Belmont.

I'll buy the vita version

To silly people who thinks the vita will suffer because of ports are just being silly. The vita has about two ported games since it was launched.the more games vita gets is the more people will buy it. If the vita gets all multiplatform games then that's awesome because I'd buy more multiplatform games. The vita is portable which works in its favour.

There are a lot of exclusive titles already announced for the vita also.

j-blaze2070d ago

so you're going to buy the high priced dumbed down version....good for you i guess

OT: hopefully a Japanese developer is involved in this!

BubloZX2070d ago

@J-blaze You need to work on your trolling. So far all Vita ports have been equal or better then consoles in terms of content and the games have costed less too and scale wise the Vita is actually more impressive then the ps3. On average vita games are $49 while console versions are $59 so for the same game the vita verison is a steal. And unless this game is bleeding edge it won't be much better graphically either. And don't think size is an issue for the vita's format either. 1. the game has to be scaled down for the vita's resolution, stero compatablity, etc. so if its 8 gig for the ps3 it'll probably be about 3-4 gigs for the vita, also sony stated that its up to game devs to decide whether or not the make use of bigger memory game cards if current sticks aren't big enough so don't worry about content being lost. Last time I check Mortal Combat got bonus stuff console users had to pay extra to get for free. Capcom also stated that the Vita version of SFxT will be getting all the bonus characters at no extra cost for no more then $49.

showtimefolks2070d ago

lords of shadow is a great game can not wait for the sequel, Hopefully this one will make the gameplay even better

a sequel is a must because of the ending of the 1st one

The_Devil_Hunter2070d ago

Oh My God!!!!
my game of the year for 2010. i loved LoS sooo much and the epilogue was one the best ending in any game i have ever seen.

MrMister2070d ago

To hell with Lords of Shadows. I'm still waiting on a PS Move/Wii-motion-plus multiplat Castlevania that let's me use those controllers as a whip.

oricon2070d ago

I'd rather have a 2d castlevania i dont consider lords of shadow as a castlevania game it doesnt play like one and hell it didnt even start as a castlevania game it got the castlevania name slapped on later on development, its not the type of gameplay im looking from a castlevania game hopefully theres a 2d true castlevania game coming out as well.

Can't wait loved the last one.

dark-hollow2071d ago

Lol it's looks like the current wii u third party support dethroned the wii's whole third party support in five years!

Titanz2071d ago (Edited 2070d ago )

I wanna know how the 3DS+Wii U co-op feature, works.

LMAO! It's sad, but true Dark-Hollow.

Bowzabub2070d ago

Ps3 owners need to stick together and try to get the possibility of Xplay bundles for these games on both PS3 & Vita.. I'd say $80 sounds fair. Any opinions?
