Chris Young writes, Welcome to the Rip Ten Rewind. A massive amount of games are released yearly and many fall to the wayside or are over shadowed by massive hits like Gears of War or Assassin’s Creed. This regular feature will pick a single title at least one year old, 25 or less dollars with a rating above 5. We will not only be reviewing the title, but looking at the game’s impact since release, staying power and overall opinion on the title present day. So grab that ice cold Mountain Dew and prepare for the maiden voyage of RipTen Rewind.
A great underrated game though is Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands. I haven't played such a solid (and frantic and sometimes difficult) platformer in a long time. And it's dirt cheap nowadays.
... got it for free as well because of the whole PSN getting hacked thing.
Only problem I had with it was that it was a bit too dark, which meant I couldn't play it during the day cause I couldn't darken my room up enough, and you couldn't really fix the brightness in the game.
I wish they would have patched that, cause I know I wasn't the only one havinga problem with the game being a bit too dark.
Haha, I know, I could barely see anything and always had to rely on my friend to be my extra set of eyes and usually just always pressed the melee button if I could hear any but not see them.
Haha, gotta admit it though, added an extra layer to cooperating in the game.
