Art In Games: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

TVGB: "Story-telling in games has always had an impact on me, for better or worse. Many developers have refined the concept of what telling a story should mean, involve, include… be. And while I'm not here to discuss on that particular topic, I've had a hard time finding a developer that's done the aforementioned as brilliantly as Naughty Dog has with its Uncharted franchise. Regardless whether you like the plot of the games or not, it's all the details within that make this series one of the most interesting, intriguing and immersive in gaming; the scenarios, the sound, the voice acting, the animations, the interaction between characters and their environment in any given situation. When all of it comes together, it doesn't necessarily feel real in the sense that, well, it's still a videogame, but it does feel believable and it sure as heck raises the bar of what is to be expected, and accepted, for future heavily story-driven games. " (PS3, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception)
