Microsoft's Xbox 360 had a banner year in 2007, coming out on top of the competition with the best quality-to-quantity ratio of releases over the course of the 12 months. Of course, it's 2008 now and the recent success means little. Gamers aren't a short-sighted bunch, they just don't like living in the past (unless it's "retro," that is). It's not a question of what you've done for them lately but rather a question of what you're going to do for them in one month, three months, nine months down the road. How then will Microsoft fend off the cheap-ass sniper rifles, grenade launchers and camping n00bs in the massive King of the Hill match that is these Console Wars? With exclusives of course!
This is the first in a series of features for the month of January covering each of the major platforms and handhelds. Feature by Adam Rosenberg.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Alan Wake, from Max Payne and Control creator Remedy, is a horror classic, prompting one player to buy 4,000 copies that don’t even work.
Kind of a goody story...
On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.
Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.
Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.
Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.
Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄
So in short she paid $240.00 assuming usd for a bunch on unactivated game codes.
I still don't understand why I guess cause there's not a physical version and she wanted something for a collection or art project.
As we have all been graced by the release of Grand Theft Auto 6's trailer, we're ranking the best and worst GTA trailers to date.
We be getting these posts All week now lads. Someone noticed a number plate ... Someone noticed a billboard... I can see it now

This site supposed to be for news.
These updates on N4G are going to ruin whats rest of this site. Unfortunate since I was one of the first members.. The site shows unsecure when i login as well.
Hail Multiplatform? hahaha. Most of them on PC.
Your argument is weak. Not everyone likes to play on their PC or they don't have a upgraded PC to play these games. Think just for a minute. Why do a lot of Microsoft exclusives sell well over a million copies? Maybe because not everyone is a PC elitist who thinks everything on the PC is the greatest. Hell, most people work all day on a computer and the last thing they want to do is play a game on it when they get home. They would rather relax on their couch and play a little Bioshock or Halo.
Blogs are not News.
how many of these " 10 , 11 reason to own a PS3/360 in 2008" articles do we need on this site. this has got to be like the 7th one.
Golden Eye? even if the 360 does get it, the fact thats one of 11 reasons to own the console is a joke.
