I really wouldn't pay around $60 for comics, but only because I don't read em. Making them available on the PSP and iPhone should bring in a few new readers.

Well it's $60 a year for basically an unlimited amount of comics. Comic books were like $10-$15 EACH, so for any comic book fan this service is pretty awesome.

That's a pretty cool feature, especially for comic fans.

1.4 - PC??
I can understand buying for the PSP or iphone but who in their right mind wants to buy comics for PC??? [By the way Comics[Mangas] on the PSP/iphone have been around for awhile now].

1.5 - I don't think some of you understand how cheap this is.
Serious comic readers can blow $30-$60 every Wed!

Don't string that cheap gamer mentality over into something that you all have no clue about ha. You're looking at spending hundreds a year down to $60 a year (Granted, not every title will be available through this service so you'll still be buying some of your certain issues).

1.6 - A single comic...
will cost you 2.99 to 3.99. So this is a great deal. I still will spend my $20 every month. But this is good to get non-reader's interested in comics and current readers interested in other titles.

To think I remember when they were low-res and cost 50 cents at the drugstore.

Who would want to look at comics on a small screen? I read some graphic novels and couldn't imagine the pictures being any smaller.

They have a zoom in feature and auto-play where it automatically pans what you're supposed to read. So it's not like you're squinting your eyes the entire time or something.

2.2 - The way the PSP Comic Reader do it,
it reminds me of the cutscenes from inFamous. Very interesting way of reading comics.

I'd rather see the images closer to actual size. They look better and show more detail you might not get in a digital version. I don't want to scroll around a page to view an entire scene.

So it's just Marvel comics? I don't like Marvel. I prefer Vertigo stuff like Sandman, The Preacher, gritty stuff, not spandex wearing characters. The Dark Tower is pretty good, though. Plus Marvel sold out to Disney

Then take your lazy ass to a store and buy an issue for a few dollars, genius...

3.3 - If you're concerned about the service...
spend $10 for the first month to try it out. The cost of 2-3 comics. You can keep that plan or save by paying for an annual subscription.

You can get an entire catalog of comics for free if you know where to look. Reading them on your mobile device is kinda crappy but perfect for a laptop.

"Reading them on your mobile device is kinda crappy but perfect for a laptop. "

That's the whole point of this service, so people don't have to lug around their laptops everywhere they go or even carry ALL the physical comics themselves.

iPhone users will benefit from this most because since it's a phone they'll have with them all the times anyway.

And some people work in a clean room like I do, so bringing my laptop inside just to read a few comics is a no no.

There's no way it's comfortable reading comics on an Iphone or PSP.
