Persona 5 Uses New Internal Engine

Andriasang writes: "Some super preliminary details on Persona 5 appear in this week's Famitsu. Actually, scratch that. The magazine doesn't really have any solid information on the game.

In an interview discussing Persona 4 The Golden and Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka, producer Katsura Hashino said that preliminary development for Persona 5 (which he referred to as "the next numbered title") is nearly complete. From here, the staff will advance into the actual development process."

... instead of making the same old mistake once again by only offering an english dub instead.

KiasuKiasiMan4621d ago

The English dubs for P3 and P4 were quite decent unlike *cough* SO4 *cough*

Yi-Long4621d ago

... as far as dubs go, but personally I just always want the original language in my entertainment, whenever possible.

I also don't watch dubbed French movies or dubbed Cantonese kung fu flicks or whatever. I want those in the original language as well :)

Spenok4621d ago

I agree, origional Voices are always a plus. Either way it wouldnt hurt me. As Kaisu said, the dubs were pretty good.

Grip4621d ago (Edited 4621d ago )

the English Dub in P4 was better actually.

Great news, great news =D

It hasn't been announced for any platform yet, but considering the fact that Catherine was on both and the new P4 fighter will be on both P5 will probably be multiplatform too.

Sea of stars while seeming pretty good so far doesn't belong in the top rpg discussion. There's way better ones. I'd tell them to play star ocean 2. One of the best non turn based rpgs ever. It has everything.

raWfodog127d ago

And if the list is limited to just turn-based RPGs, I can think of better ones to add to this list. You have the Dragon Quest series, the Trails series…Persona 5 Royale is on the list but why limit it to just that one? P3 and P4 were great as well.

Zenzuu128d ago (Edited 128d ago )

The Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, or the Shadow Hearts games has decent enjoyable turn based combat system.

Would be plus+1 more if they'd settle the fk down and stop re releasing it. I'm waiting on the definitive one over here

BrainSyphoned307d ago

It's ok, I bought 4 to your zero, they don't need your pity purchase. Every version was definitive and has their own perks.
