Vanguard Entertainment Group has appointed Arthur Houtman as its group CEO. Houtman joins CCO Martin de Ronde and COO Guy Melis, completing the group’s team of executive directors. Both de Ronde and Melis will both report to Houtman directly and Houtman will assume the role immediately
The sixth annual Develop: Brighton conference will be held in July 2016 and since February organisers Tandem Events have has submissions open for speakers to attend. Several have now been listed on the official website for the show, but currently only one involves virtual reality (VR). Confirmed currently is Martin de Ronde, Creative Director at Vanguard Games.

But while Greed Corp. was a methodical turn-based strategy game, Gatling Gears is a non-stop action twin-stick shooter - quite the departure.
It's been just a few months since Guerrilla Games (Killzone) co-founders Martin de Ronde and Michiel Mol unveiled their newest venture, Vanguard Entertainment Group, but the studio is already making headlines, signing its first project, Gatling Gears, with EA Partners and appointing a former Disney Online exec as the company's CEO.
