At a time when there are few so-called 'triple A' boxed releases to get excited about, it seems like the opposite is true in the burgeoning download space. About 15 games of note were sifted through for inclusion this week, from cute indie experiments to former boxed product being repurposed for the download channels. While a lot of them are admittedly nothing more than neat ideas chucked out for pennies, it's surprising to see how many of them, like Lazy Raiders and Aqua Panic, offer countless hours of gameplay for little more than the cost of your lunch.

Nintendo Life: Chronos Twins DX (WiiWare) Review

Quick history lesson: Chronos Twins DX began life as a Game Boy Advance title that was later ported over to the DS. While the game saw release in the UK, it was unable to land a North American publisher – poor UK sales didn't help much. Thankfully, the game is now enjoying a well-deserved second chance on WiiWare and turns out to be quite a nice surprise and uniquely engaging WiiWare experience.

For fans of classic 2D gaming, Chronos Twins is a must-play offering whether you find a way to dig up the original DS version or download it on WiiWare. For US gamers, this is the first time the game has seen a release stateside, and for that reason alone IGN highly recommends the purchase.
