Dead Rising 3 isn’t the best looking game out there, but that’s not a big deal. The fact that the game can run with that many zombies on-screen and have minimal slowdown is a very impressive display. It’s a game that asks the players to just sit back and have a blast killing zombies in the most creative ways you can think of.
Dead Rising 3 is funny, dark, bloody, violent, crude and inappropriate, but it also has a lot of heart to it. Dead Rising 3 is easily my favorite launch game for the Xbox One. There is so much fun to be had and it’s advised that you play this game with a friend. Not only is it more fun, but you can be more creative with a friend.
The Dead Rising series has enjoyed a long and storied history over the years, but which game in the series is best?
Over the last week, Jake has been going back to the Dead Rising 2 Off The Record remaster and has been an absolute blast. When he was 15 he first got his Xbox 360 and Dead Rising with it, it was unlike any other experience. It made him wonder though, what happened to the Dead Rising series.
Interesting timing. This retrospective was released just a few days ago: https://youtu.be/Et-cKSrWuc...
They took away the depth and charm of the game that made it fun and interesting, and made it into a generic zombie killing game.
This was the series the got me to buy an Xbox 360. The first one was so good. It still had horror elements. As it went on it became kind of a parody. Never forget getting Zombie Genecider achievement and then restarting the game to get the Mega Buster. That thing was monstrous against enemies.
VGChartz's Patrick Day-Childs: "2020 is upon us! The past decade has had some downs, like the influx of monetisation within full games, Blizzard's community backlash and EA winning the worst company in America award twice, but also some ups, like the leaps in understanding gaming from more mainstream companies to wholesome news like gamers helping preserve a controller signed by someone’s deceased mum.
The decade has also been the highlight of some… bizarre news, and I decided collect together some of the more obscure and quirky stories to make you giggle or question what the hell happened this decade."
Score is way too high. Personally, I'd give it somewhere between 7.5 and 8.
Minimal slow down? You do realize the game runs at like 20FPS through out the whole game right? Read the digital foundry article. 20FPS is unacceptable. And the game looks like utter crap. It looks like an early 360 game. Yes the scope is "next gen" in a lot of ways and the game is a lot of fun to play UNLESS your a fan of the originals like me and have to deal with the fact that they change all the things that were so great about 1 and 2. But yes its an alright game, not 9.5. That score just destroyed my faith in any reviews of yours not as if your reviews matter.
Finished the game today and really enjoyed it. However, the visuals are extremely weak and the performance is far from good. Frame rate drops happen regularly and are very noticeable.
People on here are crazy, frame rate drops,no it does not, are the visuals futuristic, then no they are not,but they are far from bad and you can have hundreds of zombies exploding and the fr never drops.
This is a strong launch game,if fb don't like it then don't play it.
The vehicle combos are fantastic, you chopping zombies in half they still come after you, they crawling out the gutter, falling out of windows, climbing all over the place to get to you. This is a good game guys, reviews aside i would recommend to anyone.
A 9.5 what are you smokin are you on crack...?!
