Nintendo Insider writes:
While some might turn their nose up at Capcom’s decision to go digital-only with Dual Destinies, it’s actually one of the best decisions the publisher has made in years. It’s limited western appeal and niche gameplay, Dual Destinies arrives as the genuine article, a Japanese specialty wonderfully translated for just a handful of Capcom’s usual market reach.
Amazon has discounted the digital 3DS version of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies to $8.99.
The Ace Attorney franchise is truly the little franchise that could, and with the next game coming via the Switch, we're counting down the best characters!
No Shelly de Killer? Well, it's hard enough making a top list of characters for this game, so I wouldn't hold it against him.
Capcom's Haruhiro Tsujimoto confirms company's support for the Switch in 2018, mentions upcoming Ace Attorney release in the works.
I could have sworn this was already announced. There's an article of the game developer talking about development on the switch.
This comes to No Surprise considering the popularity of the series on handhelds. Day 1
8/100? That doesn't seem right...
Also, I don't understand something. Phoenix Wright is essentially a visual novel, however most people who rate this game don't understand what a visual novel comprises of. This leads to the game being judge on the wrong sets of standards. It's a detective game, but it's more of a niche visual novel game.
I will just wait till they physically bundle this game with another Ace sequel or something. It's not like digital is going anywhere.
