Nowadays people spend their Sundays perched on a couch, cheering on their favorite gridiron warriors. Long before football was even a glimmer in someone’s imagination there was a nobler exhibition of strength and skill: Jousting. Sadly, beyond the grounds of a renaissance fair, this activity is now all but extinct. Well, at least that was the case until the release of Joust Legend. Can it live up to the hype of Ye Olde tales and fictional period pieces, or was the competition best left as the thing of legends?
Possibly promoting Rebellion’s 2013 release Joust Legend on the iPad and iPhone, or just needing to sate his thirst for blood on his lance, Kingsley and Warlord (who also provided motion capture for the game) competed for glory, and while we don’t know if he won or not, it seems like he did a good job.
Gamezebo: So even though Joust Legend isn't what we had in mind when we first heard the name, it's still a fun game with a great sense of atmosphere and fun mechanics. Don't be afraid to give this one a look.
There are many tales of brave knights and their steeds, but few have the gravitas of The Legend of Beef Face and His Trusty Horse Cake Legs.
