Following the recent confirmation of a European release for the forthcoming Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, GungHo Online Entertainment America has revealed a brand new trailer for the videogame. Ragnarok Odyssey ACE boasts a striking musical score from returning Ragnarok Odyssey composer Kumi Tanioka with a guest track written by internationally-renowned role-playing game (RPG) veteran Nobuo Uematsu, and is set to launch on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita later this year.
Ragnarok Odyssey Ace plays and feels nothing like the well known Ragnarok Online game we all know and love(d). Familiarity to the MMMO is lost as the game only presents vague representations and mentions of the content from Ragnarok Online.
Those familiar with Ragnarok Online should treat this as a new and totally different game.

Though this game and Ragnarok Online are indeed very different, the similarities and shared aspects were apparent from the get go. However, while I enjoyed those aspects, I may have been better off getting the Playstation Vita version.
