"It has been a wild ride for the guys and gals over at Yacht Club Games. With 50 hours left in their Kickstarter campaign for Shovel Knight, they are almost $200,000 above their initial goal.
During this time, an original Mega Man composer has signed on to compose music and several stretch goals have been reached, including the New Game+, Gender Swap and Challenge modes.
Today, Yacht Club Games have confirmed real, physical boxes will be available for backers who pledged $50 or more. However, there’s nothing inside these boxes except “hopes and dreams,” although they will look quite nice as a display piece. In addition to this, the Tinker Knight, a Knight who uses mechanical monstrosities to do his dirty work, has also been revealed."
