OXCGN’s Exclusive Deadfall Adventures Interview- “Please don’t expect it to copy Uncharted”

OXCGN

"When I first saw the Deadfall Adventures trailer I breathed a little sigh of joy.

No space marine. No modern soldier. No blown up warehouses.

Here was what looked like a First Person Indiana Jones game; a game with a sense of adventure instead of dread for the fate of the world.

We jumped at the chance to discover more about the game and see what the developers were going to be striving for.

Arthur Falkowski is the producer at The Farm 51, the Polish studio behind Necrovision and Painkiller: Pain and Damnation.

Reinhard Pollice is the Business & Product Development Director at Swedish publisher Nordic Games.

We asked them to elaborate on what we saw in the video."

This game looks like a refreshing change to the shooters to these days.

gaminoz4033d ago

Finally a shooter not taking place in modern warfare or space! I know it is only a small dev, but hopefully this will be good fun.

Proeliator4033d ago

I'm really looking forward to this.

"We really want to bring out a Wii U game but we are still not sure if the market is taking it up enough."

Looks like the Wii U is really having problems convincing devs to make games on it, when they aren't selling enough.

WiiU-Dude629d ago

I enjoyed it a great deal. Good fun.

MadLad628d ago

I really liked it.
I even own the collector's edition, though I got it for dirt cheap off Amazon years ago.

Really is a solid game though.

Deadfall Adventures (Xbox 360) Review

Zach Murphy writes: 'The last generation of games consoles was incredible for the FPS genre. Like it or not, Call of Duty experienced the height of its popularity over the PS3 and Xbox 360 years and games like Singularity and the original Prey were both excellent, if underrated.'.
