What is the answer to 99 out of 100 questions? Money…
You need look no further than the strategy gaming genre for confirmation. I recall a time. A very long time ago, when finding a good strategy game was as easy as stopping at an Electronics Boutique, and going to the strategy section. You could pick out almost any game and not miss.
These days that’s not the case. Why? Well, money, and “they” think we Americans are stupid.
Just a little while ago, Major Nelson posted on Twitter that Dante’s Inferno and R.U.S.E. have been added to the ever-growing list of backward compatible Xbox games. The games are available for purchase through the digital store, or just insert your old disc and the game should automatically download. As a [Continue Reading]
If they would add Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge and Ninja Gaiden 2 to BC I'd jazz my pants.
Surprised that RUSE has been added. Wasn’t that game taken off Steam and the Microsoft Store a few years back due to publisher rights issues?
If you want to explore your Xbox with best games, then try these games.
One of the biggest accomplishment that gaming fans do not realize is that this Nintendo and Koei Tecmo cooperation has produced a project with more playable female characters than men. Because this unusual accomplishment differentiates from their traditional male dominated franchises, interested spectators can appreciate this unexpected victory and content for the better or worse.
I don't care if it's dominated by men or women, as long as the game is fun... I wish more people thought that way, because it's really irritating seeing people complain about all the women on this. Don't like it? Don't play it.
I don't mind being dominated by a woman sometimes ;) I think its time I get a wiiu, beautiful games on it
I think it's too soon to say that females out-weigh the males in this game.
The Adventure Mode will play host to unlock-able characters that you won't find in Story Mode, after all, if the latest Direct for the game is to be believed.
For all we know, Groose and Tingle, amongst many others, are just waiting to be discovered.
So instead of equality, it goes to the other side of the spectrum? I don't think that is a good way to interpret Nintendo's intentions.
Gender equality means just that. It's not about female domination or female centric games. Someone's vision should not be compromised by sexists agendas of any kind. If someone envisioned a Male protagonist, then fine and if someone envisioned a female protagonist, it's equally fine.
can we get a full roster list or at least a number? i want to know how many playable characters are in it. if it even has half as many as Warriors Orochi 3 hyper, I'm satisfied.
I wonder it XCOM will deliver, and finally fill that void missing in consoles. Nothing really worthy in the strategy genre.
All those games that IGN and gamespot rate with a 7 or 8, like Halo Wars and such, it should be more like 3's or 4's.
Those games utterly suck. About the only game that has gotten it right on the console is R.U.S.E
It's still here, I enjoy playing the Total War series so much. The mods for each one keep it fresh, and the Third Age Total War mod for Medieval Total War II (Based off the LotR) has kept me busy for weeks. Continuous DLC for Shogun Total War II adds days of game play and makes it feel like a new game each time you run it. Games like Tropico and Sim City can have you invested in spending time building and sustaining massive cities for weeks/days as well. When Rome Total War II comes out at retail, the strategy genre will boom yet again, and will usher in a new era of what a RTS/Strategy game should be considered.
Well I still play Warcraft 3. I will never stop playing that game.
There's plenty o strategy games on pc.
I miss dune 2000! I hate going through hoops to try to play it. The only game that kept me so captivated that i played for over 24 hours straight!
