The only game I've heard of is Army of Two, and you're right it is a 3rd person shooter. And what makes it worst is that they even acknowledge it as a 3rd person shooter in the article and still manage to add it to this list. If anything it should be Killzone 2, Warhammer, and Resistance: FOM 2 on this list (the only hyped 2008 FPS I know about).

far cry 2 is gonna blow everything away nxt yr just chk out the vids and i think killzone 2 might come close but i dont care i'm mainly a pc gamer....and i'm only talking first person shooters over here overall nothing is gonna beat gta 4,metal gear solid 4 and starcraft 2

I'm defenately getting my hands on Army of two, It's should be a nice tactical game with a co-op online, The first Far Cry was a popular game with a big land scape and so wil be the next Far Cry 2, I'm not sure if it wil be a number one game VS next year games such as Killzone2? As mentioned above?
