You can't say that because a game has an artbook and collectors tin case that it's not worth $20 more. You're trying to measure the excitement of fans and the satisfaction of having a better edition of a game than everyone else. You can't measure it in money.

I'll admit I got the GTA IV Special/Collectors Edition(With the duffel bag, artbook, Safety deposit box, keyring and a GREAT soundtrack) because I did think it was worth it, and considering I am a huge fan of the GTA series(Own each game, including the 'stories' versions on PS2) it wasn't that hard for me to justify it to myself to spend the extra for the CE(I did pay $150, but firstly it wasn't double the price like this is suggesting, and the game didn't cost $89 from day one release, I guarantee that! Not even with these 15% EB Games vouchers, that I have NEVER heard of BTW), I did after all want a part of what could've been the best game ever(Too bad it was a major let down:( ).

But any other CE nowadays seems to be very poor value for money, a couple of unlocks and a nice case is certainly not a CE, neither is throwing in a DVD that can be made for a couple of bucks(Not to mention we used to actually get behind the scenes and extra 'DVD' content in actual games for completing the game/certain tasks, ie God of War), give us some substantial stuff, we deserve it if we are paying for it, throw in some figurines, artwork, posters, EXTRA GAME CONTENT, etc.

The extra game content for me would be the biggest thing, not a cheat code unlock, but an hour or so of actual game content, nothing that really changes the game, but give us something good for our money.

3 - Sorry to double post but...
This blog/article is REALLY poorly written(Not in terms of its subject matter, but in terms of the actual grammar/word use), countless spelling errors and grammar issues "You'll might get some special editions...""Where YJ is bitter about all the money he's wasted on 'collectors' editions over the past few years""You have the group that is a general fan of the series..."(That one is isn't it, should be written "You have the group that are (in?) general(,?) fans of the series" or is it correct the way it is?)

That's in the opening sentences of the blog/article, sounds like it is written by someone who is learning english, it's almost at HHG level!!!

BTW please don't pick me out on any of MY errors, just saying that for an N4G approved piece it is poorly written and put together and really would only take a proof read to fix it all.
