EA is currently developing five titles in the Battlefield franchise

Ben Cousens, executive producer at EA's DICE studio, today confirmed at GDC Paris that the team is currently working on five titles in the Battlefield franchise.

We know that EA are currently working on Battlefield Heroes, its first free-to-play title, and that Battlefield: Bad Company is being released on Friday. This puts names to two of the three in development, but what about the other ones?

I'm willing to put money on this that the quality of these games will plummet with each release.

EA - "It's in the Game" - you can be sure that the only thing that EA see in a game is money.

I wish EA would at least shut the f*** up . Do your 5 battlefield games , great... but what the idea behind spooking potential costumers by announcing those five games ?

Had i been interested by Bad company , and then saw this info , i'd have simply decided to skip Bad company and just wait for a good title among the next Battlefield tiles ...

11 - can someone tell me...
what studios don't milk their games? Last time I checked we were at MGS 4, Halo 3(and soon to be 2 more halo games), I dunno 20 mario games have come out, etc.... EA gets attacked all the time, when every game studio milks they're games. Oh and so does everyone's favorite Ubisoft studio(i.e. Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six).

and i dont think the mGs series is being milked, i mean at least there not one out each year with like one new feature.
EA constanly releases the same game each year with a couple of new feature, now that milking it

Yeah, they said that they designed BC to cater to the consoles' strengths, hence why it isn't on PC because it would be poorly received. BF3 will only be on PC and focus on its strengths.

battlefield sim; buy your own battlefield, guns, tanks, characters, camo... all for 400 points each. if you want single player story mode its an extra 2500 points off market place.
