From HDWarriors.com:

For many gamers its easy to reminisce about the days of old and the gaming of our childhood. So many great games and so many great Cheat Codes.

Who can forget Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A? If your sitting there saying "God I love Contra" You will understand where im coming from but if your sitting there saying " God I love the Konami Code" than you truly apreciate the history of gaming.

Cheat Codes have bailed out so many of us, in so many of our favorite games and yet now are becoming so vary scarce. If we all love them so much then why are they being taken away from us?

Gamerscore and Trophies are prolly a huge factor as in why cheats are used less. Never really cared for cheats though unless they were in a GTA game and that was just when i would mess around a bit.

Agreed. If GTA games didn't have cheats I wouldn't have played them as much.

I used to use cheats after I beat a game, they were good for replay value.

I remember when every game had cheats that increased game replay. NBA jam, MK3 (consoles), Goldeneye, turok ect. I think it's because maybe making games has become much less fun so developers just don't put the love into games like once upon the time. But one of the big ones is perhaps with how complicated gaming has become to program for it just takes too much work.

Conduit has cheats tho... quite conveniently. That's how casual inclusion should be done. Just make the game ridiculously easy as a switch hidden in the game.
