FFXIII had everything to be the best title ever but sadly SE will compromise as we all know the 360 is way behind in hardware power! M$ payed SE too much money to let FF13 be a superior game for the PS3!

You're right, they will have to compromice so much it will look like the first Final Fantasy game on the NES! Those crappy videos and screenshots look just like an NES game!

If you thought that sounded stupid, you now see how his comment sounded to me!

Honestly, you guys aren't game developers, so how do you know what SE can do, will do, or want to do in the first place?

Alot of fanboys keep saying the game will be gimped because they don't get to use the full 50 Gb of Blu-ray disc. But what if they never really intended to use 50 Gb's in the first place.

There are only a few ambitious developers willing to dump the extra cash into using those extra Gb's. But everyone else isn't being bothered. Look at Heavenly Sword for example, I remember that they used 10 Gb's just for the sound, and yet, most gamers probably play with the sound turned down low, and probably don't have a surround sound system, so they will never even know.

I think that Square has bit off more then they could chew, and didn't expect all the money they would be using for development. they are kinda bleeding, so get all the money they can from high developed game is a means of eliminating all expense.
