TIf this is true Sony will have another killer lineup for 2010 and 2011 probably!! Im sure MS will have good exclusives also. It's great to on both Next-Gen Consoles!

The game was announced with no specific platforms mentioned. Then it was learned that Sony has penned a deal with R* for three exclusive titles for the PS3. That's when people started speculated that L.A. Noire was one of those titles. Then eventually R* came out and said that it was not one of the exclusive titles but that we would hear more about it soon. Then it disappeared.

At least that's how I remember it.

Uhm no. Sony had a deal with team bondi for 3 exclusives. Not Rockstar. They later made a deal with rockstar for the next big rockstar franchise. It was never a deal about 3 games.

After take two picked up LA noire there have been speculation that the game is no longer exclusive.

I don't care. Too much speculation that it is, it isn't, it never was, or whatever else. Sony's palette of confirmed exclusives (e.g. Uncharted, God of War, Heavy Rain, GT5, etc) is exceptional.

Hour of Victory is the answer you are looking for. Not only is it a technical marvel, worthy of being one of the wonders of the modern world, but the game also happens to be the best I ever played since Bomberman Zero and Superman 64!

But seriously, it's not like the 360 can't do most the stuff the PS3 can. Gears2 still has some of the sharpest textures seen on a video game console, GTA4 has amazing animation (on both consoles), and many games on the 360 look about on par with the PS3 exclusvies.

However, I must admit that Uncharted 2 seems to be in a league of it's own (for console anyway).

As for KZ2, the effects are amazing (lights and the likes) but the textures themselves are so-so, but the end result is a very nice looking game.

But, bakc on subject, why dis is a troll, ignore him.
And as for Rockstar, I hope these games aren't years away, I can't wait to play them, may it be on the PS3, or on the 360. The more games, the better.

really? are gears of war textures better then lbp? i have been playing it just before i saw your comment and the game is stunning and the textures are amazing, and didnt some guy do a comparison with gear 2 and uncharted which blew gears 2 away? killzone 2 is an amzingly good looking game and as of right now the best looking game on the market which is ofcourse gonna be outdone by uncharted 2 cos its just out of this world, i think that it even rivials what you see on a top end pc, cos well if killzone2 was compared to crysis (not beating but nearing) then wouldnt you say that uncharted looks even better than crysis? and thats some feat wouldnt you agree? look im not saying the 360 cant produce some good looking games but they are not on par with ps3 exclusive which keep on pushing the bar up... and it is odd that the 360 being out longer than the ps3 hasnt got any games to rival the ps3 exclusive even from 2007 (uncharted vs gears2) surely it should be well above the ps3 graphically.

I somewhat agree with you, except for the Crysis part.

KZ2 looks great, but it's mostly because GG were smart enough to hide the game's "flaws". The overall package is amazing and gorgeous, but look closely at the textures, are they great? nope.

On the other hand, Crysis is simply beautiful, thanx to high resolution textures and AA. It doesn'T really "hide" anything, it's pure graphics.

Of course, when compared in motion, both will look amazing, but KZ2 uses some "tricks" while Crysis simply is great-looking. So, while Uncharted, in my opinion, looks better than KZ2, it doesn't seem to rely as much on motion blur and that kind of stuff compared to KZ2, it's rather going for better textures, so I doubt it will beat or even be on par with Crysis (on a technical level), mostly due to the limited RAM of the PS3 compared to a PC.

but the motion blur on killzone 2 was done on purpose like on the train level to give an extra sense of speed, i watched all the killzone 2 vids and there was one like 50 minutes where the devs explained how they did certain things, you probably saw it too, thats where i saw them explaining the motion blur, and the lighting in that game is truely unsurpassed, even people will argue that killzone 2 has better character models than crysis, aswell as weapon models... but your right on the textures they are nothing to shout about, however overall it is up there with crysis but its hard to truely compare them since the settings are so different... but my point was that even them being compared is something that no 360 game has ever done! and i really do think uncharted 2 will beat it, although its tps not fps, i defo wouldnt say that uncharted is better than killzone 2 although uncharted is awesome looking the screen tearing does let it down, and makes it unable to beat killzone 2, im so looking forward to u2 tho.

The game is as elusive as WarDevil. Pretty sure its coming to all platforms though, the little we've heard about this game was when the execs were saying it wasn't the exclusive that later turned out to be agent, they made this case by saying L.A. Noire was multiplatform.

Anyways, I'm sure team Bondi is probably working on a couple PSP titles or a network game. They probably only have 1 ps3 exclusive. 3 titles for one studio is alot, no matter who it is.

I'm currently trying to find out Wardevil information as since new years eve when they spoke to, IIRC, IGN, amongst others, to assure them the game was still coming out and we'd see the new site and something "special"(believed to have implied gameplay) there hasn't been a sniff.

A mate of mine who's ended up working for R* Leeds applied for a post when they advertised in Jan of this year and got no response even though he was properly fitting allcriteria and has a pretty impressive and relevant CV in the industry. We think, maybe, the ads were to asupport the argumant they were still hoing so they could raise funds to go on and as we haven't maybe now we've heard the last of the game-which did look promising at e3 2006/7. Pity if we have, no?

As for LA Noire - I thought it waas always announced for all platforms and the confusion ame from a listing somehwre say it was slated for release on the PS3 without mentioning any other platforms but that was shown to be a pure mistake, no?

The Haze debacle had more to do with politics than it did anything to do with PS3 "difficulties" for FRD, IIRC. They had lots of middleware pulled at one point and ended up having to do stuff like in house physics on the fly-the game looked and ran better a year before release from what I saw anyway.

In fact from the moment it went PS exclusive the wheels came off so I'd bet the whole thing started then with noses put out of joint by the multi platform deal falling through. Who knows but having to change and rebuild as they did was always likely to cripple a first HD release and, eventually killed the company as well-til Crytek, luckily, bought them up-now where's our new TS4?

my friends they sell very well indeed it just there are so many great ps3 exclusives that its hard to buy them all, and they do get sold eventually, the 360 fams are mad on halo so halo sells well plus there isnt really another amazing exclusive 360 fps is there? not that i think halo3 was amazing anyway... and what you have to remember is some game designers are like artists, they made games because they love to make games thats it! ofcourse they want to make a profit and most do, thats why so many devs are still in buisness, and these kinda devs wanna make their best work so they need the best machine. simple as that really.

What you fail to realize, like most idiotic xbots, is that the PS3 is leading the way for superior exclusives that are unmatched til this day. No need to list all of the great titles that you xbots continue to miss out on everyday, but what can I say, the PS2 is still the greatest seller of all time and the first xbox is obsolete! The PS3 is dropping better games and the xbox is waiting..... for HALO and Gay Azz Tony! Yeah, you are getting splinter cell and forza this year but you are missing the main ingredient - and that is proven staying power - something that sony has and will continue to have.

As the PS3 continues to make quality games, the xbots will have less to say and eventually say f' it, I'm trading in my xbox (because I can't afford a ps3 at the same time) and I'm getting the superior console - free online - everything in the box console!!! Yeah BEOOTCHES!

for one im actually glad that not every ps3 owner has a headset, or rather that they dont all use their headsets all the time, everyone on my friends list has one tho, and we use them when we need to, i do find that the maturity over psn is higher, their are not so many kids running around shouting as on live, maybe cod4 but i dont really play it anymore, and what about lbp? the game is awesome.. killzone 2? another awesome game, rfom and r2 are both great games also, mgs4? and if you have a ps3 why on earth do you always troll ps3 articles being negative? i just dont get it, also why do you care about sales? personally i couldnt care less aslong as i get the games lmao.
